things in 19th century novels that bring me an immense amount of joy
- a passive aggressive pianoforte moment
- any country dance scene
- flower symbolism
- the love interest telling the heroine he loves her mid panic attack
- a women rejecting a marriage proposal from a man she hates
- hands
- when lore gets dropped via letter
- and, most importantly, the First Name Drop™
